How I’ve been working with my clients for years

Hey Reader,

Being good at tech is not enough for business owners when they want to work with you for years.

When I just pivoted my VA business, I had no idea about most tech & operations. I learned everything on the job.

So, it wasn’t my expertise that made them keep working with me.

So what is it then?

First, I start our relationship with honesty.
Whenever a potential client asks me if I could do something in a discovery call, I’m honest. It will come out if you say you’ve set up an online course before, and you haven’t.

Second, I communicate clearly.
Of course, honesty is part of it, but I also let my clients know when I’m going to do something for them and when I’ve done it. That way, they don’t have to second-guess.

Third, I’m a fast learner.
Yes, even though I can call myself an expert, I haven’t worked with every single tool there is. So, when a client wants to work with a new tool, I can quickly see if it benefits my client and, if so, become an expert in it very quickly.

These qualities and more are why I’m still working with a client I signed in 2018 and why she referred me to other business owners.

In the 4-figure Tech VA Membership, I have a whole module dedicated to creating a client journey so clients stay with you for years, and even better, refer you to their business friends.

This way, you can work with a few high-quality clients a month, becoming an integral part of their teams, and have them refer you.

Because that’s what we want, right?

We want to sign new clients through referrals. We want to have the opportunity to pick and choose who we want to work with. We want to work with a few clients each month and not have to look for new clients every single day.

We started this business to have more freedom, and with what I teach you in the membership, you can achieve that.

Join the membership and start your journey to freedom.

Love, Marit

PS. It’s time to work with clients who make business fun again

You know the kind — the clients who respect your time, pay your invoices early, and send you dog pics just because.

Inside the 4-Figure Tech VA Membership, we’ll make sure you know exactly how to attract and keep those clients. You’ll learn the tech and ops skills they’re desperate to outsource, and how to package your services so they instantly see your value.

You’ll build a business that attracts your dream clients — the ones who pay 4-figures a month, stay long-term, and make you think, “I can’t believe I get paid to do this.”

Plus, you’ll have the WolfPack community cheering you on every step of the way.

Join the 4-Figure Tech VA Membership — because dream clients aren’t found by luck, they’re built by strategy.

Hey Reader, When I was launching the 4-figure Tech VA Membership, one of the first questions I got was what time the Monthly Collaboration Calls are. I was so glad I got that question because I have so many amazing women from all around the world on my email list and following me on my socials. Of course, she wanted to know when the calls are because she wanted to get the most out of this membership, and rightly so. Yes, you can always watch the replay because that’s something everyone in the...

Hey Reader, In the last 8 years, I’ve done a lot of discovery calls, and not every call ended up with a new collaboration. And I don’t have a problem with that at all. Not every business owner is supposed to be my client. Let me tell you why. Even though my clients have come through referrals since 2018, I always have a discovery call with a potential client. I want to feel if we are a right fit for each other. When I just started my VA business, I had the urge to say yes to everybody I had a...

Hey Reader, First off, happy New Year!!!! I wish you an amazingly fantastic 2026! The end of a year is always a great time to reflect, and I realised I've been working with my longest VA client every month since August 2018. I find this so amazing, and I'm sooooo grateful that we've been working together for so long. Here's how I became their "couldn't do this without you” person; they happily pay every month. This was what I was missing in my 9-to-5s. I didn’t feel appreciated most of the...
